Charles Wise is an author/evangelist with Written Word Ministries. After converting to Christianity in 1991, he has served in a number of diffferent ministries, including:
Volunteer Chaplain for the Department of Corrections, Alaska
Interim Pastor, Walnut Grove Community Church, Arkansas
Written Word Ministries was founded in 2008, after Charles was forced to resign from public ministry due to failing health. Despite being homebound, Charles searched for and found an avenue of ministry through the power of the printed page. Expanding past Bible studies and sermons into written form, he has offered free online studies through Ideamarketers, an online essay service.
Bring On The Rain: The Trials and Tribulations of a Country Preacher was the first volume released through public media. Upcoming projects include a beginners guide to Christianity, a reconsideration of the church's stand toward women, and a book on Jonah.
